Dear friends! We would like to present one of our latest projects – the production and installation of ModEco furnaces for manufacturing briquettes from almond shell. The facilities of charcoal production are located in Spain.

ModEco 4-60 S furnace has been specifically designed for carbonization of small raw materials. The furnace has a special construction of the retorts and some of the engineering solutions implemented for the most efficient production of charcoal from wood chips, walnut and almond shells, and other wood wastes.

We had recommended our customer the complex of 2 units of furnaces to achieve the required capacity of the production site. The summary capacity of this production is 140-160 tons of charcoal per month.

The key technical characteristics of ModEco 4-60 S furnace:

• Charcoal production capacity: 70-80 tons per month, depending on the raw material
• Raw material requirement for production: 245-320 tons per month
• Staff required for operation: 2 workers per shift
• Power consumption: 6.5 kWh
• Carbonization cycle in a single retort: 12-16 hours
• Operating cycle: continuous
