Modeco Premium 3
Taking into account the growing demand for high-quality charcoal with a high carbon content, Synergy-Dream offers the ModEco Premium 3 kiln, which fully meets the requirements for the production of high-quality premium charcoal, where 80-90% of the charcoal produced is “restaurant fraction” charcoal.
When designing a kiln that will produce a high percentage of high-quality restaurant grade coal, the main tasks were to accurately calculate the coolant operation and convenient, practical unloading of finished products.
We also tried to create a kiln that is affordable in the price segment, practical to install and start up, easy to operate and simple to maintain, stable and long-lasting, provided that the technological processes are followed, and safe for the environment. And we have achieved this.
The kiln consists of a furnace chamber and 6 stationary retorts, which are connected into a single unit by a directed flow of coolant.
The kiln is a metal body with walls and bottom lined with high-temperature insulation. The following materials are used for the lining: ceramic fiber with a working temperature of up to 1250 degrees, ceramic tiles with a working temperature of up to 1250 degrees, fireclay brick SHA 5. Also, metal parts made of refractory steel AISI 310 and partially AISI 321 were used in the kiln construction.
The retort body is thermally insulated, which ensures a constant and uniform temperature in all its parts. Wood pyrolysis takes place directly in the middle of the retort. The inner walls of the retort can be made of different high-temperature steel (on request). In the construction of the ModEco Premium 3 model, we used steel grade 09 G2C, which ensures long-term service life of the retort (at least 10 years).
Preliminary drying is not provided for this model and therefore the productivity (with wood moisture content up to 60%) will be at least 50 tons per month.
The ModEco Premium 3 charcoal kiln can operate both with an automated control system (ACS), where the ACS controls the kiln operating modes and keeps the temperature within the set parameters, and in manual mode, where the kiln operator uses thermocouples to control the process.
When coal is unloaded, the lower hatch and gate open. Coal is unloaded into metal stabilization tanks. To stabilize the coal, metal stabilizers are used, which, subject to the cooling and stabilization regulations, ensure proper preparation of coal for packaging.
